Who we are
WardReady is an independent website for foreign residents of Japan. We collect official disaster-prevention information from the national government, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and ward offices and explain it in English, with a link and date for every fact. We are not a government service and not an emergency alert service; see the disclaimer.
We try to read every message but cannot promise a fast reply, and we cannot give advice for individual emergencies.
What to write to us about
- Corrections to ward info. Tell us the page, what is wrong and, if you can, the official page that shows the right information. Corrections help keep the ward pages accurate for everyone.
- Partnerships and listings. Relocation, insurance, school or bousai-goods companies, ward offices and community groups. Paid placements are always labelled 広告/PR and never change official facts.
- Feedback. What was useful, what was confusing, which wards, cities or languages you want next.
